How To Wrap Christmas Gifts with Fabric

We don’t know about you, but our wardrobes are full of hidden gifts and it’s time to get them wrapped and under the tree! This year we’re wrapping up our presents in beautiful fabric, not only is this is a great way to use up old fabric scraps but also a fresh and unique way to decorate your gifts. And forget about getting your fingers in a twist in sellotape!

 

Follow our step by step guide on how to wrap your gifts with fabric this Christmas.

 

STEP 1

Cut out a square of fabric and lay in a diamond shape, with your gift in the middle fold in the top and bottom corners.

STEP 2

Fold the top and bottom of the fabric over the gift and secure with a safety pin. Then much like normal wrapping, fold down the sides.

STEP 3

Bring the ends up and across the gift.

STEP 4

Tie the ends together and secure with a safety pin if necessary.

STEP 5

Decorate your present by tucking in foliage and berries and don’t forget to add a name tag for that special someone!
