Here at Cath Kidston, we’re always on the lookout for different ways to brighten up your day, so we jumped at the chance to collaborate with Heinz and create unique collectable cans printed with our most iconic designs. 2018 marks our 25th Birthday, so it was only right that we would try our very hardest to give supermarket shelves and your kitchen cupboards a true Cath Kidston makeover!
Available for a limited time only, HEINZ X CATH KIDSTON will see classic cans of Heinz best-selling Soup recipes – Heinz Cream of Tomato (launched 1910), Cream of Chicken and Classic Vegetable Soup (launched in the 1930s) – given a fresh spring makeover.
This will be the first time EVER that the classic Heinz Soup cans have been the subject of a design take over, the cans have remained largely untouched and unchanged over the last 108 years. Our print design team delved into our archive to find three iconic designs – Cowboy, Button Spot and Bramley Sprig – to adorn the classic cans of Heinz Soup, we then gave each a unique Heinz red twist.
We’ll be launching a very special limited edition collector’s box online and in 10 stores on the 16th April. The box will feature Button Spot Cream of Tomato Soup, Bramley Sprig Vegetable Soup and Cowboy Cream of Chicken Soup. It will also include an exclusive Cream of Tomato Soup in our iconic Guards print which will only be available at Cath Kidston. The 10 stores stocking our limited edition box will be our Piccadilly Flagship, Edinburgh, London Bridge, Tottenham Court Road, Cardiff, Liverpool, Meadowhall, Birmingham Grand Central, The Manchester Trafford Centre and Brighton.
The collector’s box is priced at £10 with 100% of the proceeds being donated to The Trussell Trust, a network of food banks that provide emergency food and support to people in crisis. All three varieties will also be available across a selection of supermarkets for a limited time only, so stock up on soup for spring!
