Freston, by Cath Kidston

It’s time to get a little bit excited. Because we’re unveiling a brand new print collection, and it has all the hallmarks of a modern classic, if we do say so ourselves.

Introducing Freston. Named after the quiet little corner of wild West London that we call home, Freston takes one of our all-time best-loved prints and reimagines it in a pared-back style, played out across modern and wearable colours. It’s all about simplicity, elegance and a touch of fun – the kind of print you can take to work, out to dinner and back again – thanks to the creative talents of our incredible design team here on Freston Road, West London. “We wanted a motif that could live on for years,” says Design Director Christine, “and we wanted something that was graphic in its layout – to give a feeling of calm”.

But this is Cath Kidston, where you learn to expect the unexpected and delight in little surprises, so our understated print gets a playful twist with some of our most iconic characters finding their way in amongst those minimal roses. Think signature cowboy motifs and cactus prints.

Effortlessly team a tote with off-duty jeans and tees, confidently accessorise your workwear with one of our cross bodies, or simply grab a mini, clutch or pouch for a night out. Plus, the navy and taupe colours are totally universal.

In the same durable coated canvas you’ve come to love from Cath Kidston, this collection has been lovingly designed to be the perfect marriage of form, function and a little luxury. Leather trims have been naturally vegetable-dyed to match the tone of the fabric, with scallops and roses for a touch of subtle feminine detailing. You’ll find brass hardware both inside and out, to reflect our vintage heritage and add a sense of utility. Complete with vibrant linings, designed to give a little moment of joy every time you look inside.

Freston is part of our classic print heritage and our stylish future, and we are as excited as can be about sharing it with you. Let us know which bits you love in the comments – we really enjoy seeing everybody’s favourites! Our new collection is ready. For you. By Cath Kidston. Enjoy.
